Full size BLOODHOUND SSC aluminium wheel made by alimex was unveiled at the Farnborough 2010
July 19th 2010, the BLOODHOUND SSC team unveils the complete life size Show Car at the Farnborough International Airshow. For the first time, people have been able to admire the stunning BLOODHOUND SSC, which at 12.8m, is longer than four Mini’s parked end to end. The 1:1 full scale replica is the result of three years of painstaking aerodynamic study and ten exhaustive design evolutions to perfect the shape and aerodynamic package of the world’s ultimate land speed record breaking car.
The need to show the world just how far the project has come at the FIA 2010 has focused on amongst other product sponsors the effort of the alimex Group by the presentation of a full size BLOODHOUND aluminium wheel made by alimex which was handed over to Richard Noble, Andy Green, the two fastest ever men on four wheels on the planet, by Chris Watts MD of alimex UK Precision in Aluminium Ltd. The whole BLOODHOUND SSC team sent a big thanks to the entire alimex team who were involved in getting this key exhibit to the show on time.
