GIANT Dimensions for Giant Projects
560 mm x 2800 mm x 6000 mm is the biggest innovation at alimex.
To offer its customers new possibilities in construction and design, alimex expanded its ACP product portfolio by GIANT dimensions, in 2008. The new products ACP 5080 GIANT and ACP 5080R GIANT are the only aluminium cast plates, which offer a width of up to 2800 mm, worldwide.
With length and width dimensions of up to 6000 mm x 2800 mm alimex is the only producer of aluminium cast plates worldwide, who can offer sawn or surface machined plates of 15 mm up to 560 mm thickness in these dimensions to its customers.
To optimize the handling of these giants, alimex recently expanded its premises in Germany up to 40,000m². With the opening of the new additional production hall of 10,000 m² in Willich close to Düsseldorf, alimex created room for state-of-the-art saw and milling machinery, which has been manufactured especially for the requirements of the German aluminium producer.
