alimex launches worldwide ground breaking technology with its new one-of-a-kind plate milling-head.
A diameter of 2700 mm is offered by the brand-new milling head of alimex Metallhandelsgesellschaft mbH. With a manufacturing tolerance of +/- 0.1 mm, it is without question currently the world’s largest plate miller of its kind. With this new milling head, the production of the bestselling aluminium cast plate ACP 5080 will be even more efficient and offer customers even greater possibilities.
Especially for the precision surface machined product of the "GIANT" plates with dimension up to 2800 mm x 6000 mm - ACP 5080 "GIANT" - it will positively improve the production process enormously. Additionally to the increased efficiency, a consistent surface of the aluminium cast plates is now demanded by customers. Up to a width of 2500 mm and a length of 6000 mm the new milling head creates an even surface of extremely high quality.
